Carroll County Fair 2014: Destiny Higgins

As we prepare for this year’s Carroll County Fair in just a few months, here’s a throwback to the 2014 Fair.

Gateway supports kids 4-H programs throughout Eastern Ohio, including Destiny Higgins of Carroll County. At the 2014 Carroll County Fair, Gateway bought Destiny’s Grand Champion Market Hog.

“We were really excited to buy her Grand Champion hog because it’s her first fair,” said Gateway Royalty president Chris Oldham. “Gateway is here to support the kids, to show them that it’s important to do good work and to work hard at whatever they may do.”

Destiny said she’ll save the money to pay for college.
