Alexis Anthony couldn’t hold back her excitement after Gateway Royalty purchased her goat at this year’s Monroe County Fair!
“I was just so excited, and I was just amazed at how much he went for!”
Alexis knew at first sight she had a special goat for this year’s fair, “when we first saw him me and dad both fell in love with him.”
All the work and preparation leading up to the fair paid off when her goat was named the 2015 Reserved Market Goat.
“It took a lot of hard work to get my goat ready, but he just became an amazing goat,” said Alexis.
Blaine Grace, royalty buyer for Gateway, says he loves to participate in the fairs and see the 4H kids get recognized for their hard work.
“We love to support the kids here in the 4h program, and getting the opportunity to buy their animals is really great for us.”
