In the months leading up to the 2015 Monroe County Fair, Mackenzie Kernik was hard at work preparing three market goats to be shown and auctioned.
“This is an extremely hard process starting from when they’re just babies and getting them completely ready and making sure they’re fit to what the judge wants.”
Makenze also heard about Gateway Royalty purchasing animals at other county fairs and was very excited when they purchased one of her goats.
“I’ve heard about Gateway purchasing animals and when they purchased mine I was thankful.”
Gateway Royalty is always happy to participate in the county fairs and help reward the 4-H kids for all their hard work.
“We love coming out here and supporting these kids, they work very hard on their animals and it’s great disciplines that they learn as well,” said Gateway Royalty Buyer Blaine Grace.
