Frankie Saffell was back at this year’s Belmont County Fair for the second year in a row.
With the help of his dad, Bobby, Frankie spent months getting his market hog ready for the fair.
“My dad usually goes to the barn in the morning to feed my pigs, then in the afternoon I go and check their water and feed in case they need anything.”
All the hard work preparing for the fair paid off when it was finally time for Frankie to show his market hog.
“I really like to show my animals, because it’s a lot of fun.”
Gateway Royalty is proud to support all the 4-H members and grateful to be a part of the fair.
“We’re glad to be out here at the Belmont County Fair to support the 4-H kids and show them the gratitude for all the hard work that they’ve put in over the six to twelve months and give them the credit that they deserve,” said Gateway President Chris Oldham.
